Today we separated the ewes and does from the rams and bucks. We ended the thirty day long breeding season.  The separation  was going well until some animals refused to walk onto the ice to their next destination.  It was awful.  Some animals I literally dragged or pushed  on the ice to their new area for winter living..  But the animals are now together in the correct group.  After a few days every animal gets into the routine of where they are.
