Seventy one

I have not been here due the planning and landscaping the grounds for the wedding.  There  was a marriage of two shepherds on July 19th and what a wedding it was!  And that is another story.

The flock is doing great.  I am hoping that the severe winter did damge to the parasites in the pastures.  Everyone remains healthy and the only nagging issue at the moment are the hooves.  Try to imagine two aging shepherds catching, knocking the animal on its side and then clipping the nail.  Some of nails are so smell-melodious!!!!  This is a made-up word from my mother-in-law.

The dogs have been fixed and we are hoping there is less fighting.  The fighting sounds serious and life threatening but it is really dog play.  At the moment all is quiet.
