Old Journal 11/20

At this moment there are scores of holiday activities at the farm.  Decorating wreaths, twining garlands on the porch posts,  positioning holiday artifacts on the first floor, hanging all of the different colors of lights,  and cutting down the tree.  It all gets magically done in time for the first holiday guests.

We have finished breeding the goats and the sheep should begin tomorrow.  It usually lasts twenty days minimum and no more than thirty.  It is easy in the beginning and after three weeks, the routine begins to be very tiresome.  But the anticipation of spring lambs brings a smile to our faces.

Here is the last blog I wrote on the old website:

Here it is the end of April and nothing has been entered into the blog. There are 16 new babies in the pasture and what a spring it has been. The animals are healthy and the rains have made the pastures lush and lovely. We have one black ewe lamb with three large white spots on her back. It is called a reverse coloration.
